For any interested the tivo remote code for the EMERSON LC391EM3 Wal Mart tv is 0053. It took me forever to find it so hopefully it'll help some of you!

Release date July 17, 2008. Changes include Improved reliability of transfers of large recordings to the DVR, reduced memory usage when transferring recordings from the DVR, improved communications with TiVo when linking to TiVo account and handling web video content (this was a necessity!), and improved handling of web video content when pausing or shutting down TiVo Server.

This is a maintenance and anti-hacking update so if you have one of those hacked Tivo DLLs for better video quality then don't upgrade.

This version checks the DLL and automatically replaces it with the Tivo approved version.

Tivo's latest revision of Tivo Desktop is version 2.61, released on April 10th, 2008, fixes a lot of bugs and adds 

the certificate below to the program. If you're up to keeping the latest software on your pc then this is it. Enjoy :)

All of your old Tivo software is about to keel over due to the certificate embedded in the software of all Tivo to Go software created

prior to version 2.6.1 (to be posted shortly). If you'd like to keep using the old version of the software just download this certificate patch and run the .bat file inside. Tada! You're back in business. 

Here's tivo desktop version 2.6. It's like tivo desktop for retarded people with most things being automatic and a better IP selection routine. Release date was 3-18-2008, nearest I can tell. 

Here's Tivo Desktop version 2.5.1, a maintenance release. Relase date is 12-06-2007 or thereabouts. 

It was reported to have a nasty memory leak though so I recommend staying away from it. But, if you insist...
