"Shew me thy ways oh Lord, teach me thy paths." People would be much happier and be blessed if they did things God's way. the whole Psalms 25 is showing us that God's way is the only way. The bible also says in Proverbs 14:12, "There is a way that seemth right to man , but the end thereof is the ways of death." Jesus himself said "broad is the way that leadth to destruction and many there be that go in there at because straight is the gate and narrow is the way which leadth unto life and few be that find it." Matthew 7:13-14. Man has always tried to have his own way, but we know from the teaching of the bible that God 's way is the only way to happiness. Man must submit himself to God's way if he expects to be happy and blessed. It is first of all the way of truth . Psalms 25:5, "Lead me in thy truths." The truths of God never change. Jesus said in John 8:32, "You shall know the truth and the shall make you free." Then God's way is the way of obedience. "All the paths of the Lord are mercy and truth unto him that keep his covenant and testimonies." Psalms 25:10. God's way is the way of peace. "His soul shall dwell at ease." Psalms 25:13. the apostle Paul says, "therefore being justfied by faith, we have peace with God.". Romans 5:11. God's way is also the way of safety. "Mine eyes are ever toward the Lord for he shall pluck my feet out of the net." Psalms 25:15. Walking in his way, being obedient to his word and following him, means he will take care of our eternal soul. Finally, the way of God is the way of forgiveness, "Look upon my affliction and forgive my sins." Psalms 25:18. Man needs to be forgiven of his sins. there can be no peace of mind and there cannot be any safety outside of the forgiveness of sin. 1 John 1:9 says, "If we confess out sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins." Having our sins forgiven means that we have salvation. "Lead me in thy truths and teach me for thy are the God of my salvation." Psalms 25:5. God sent his son Jesus Christ to be the saviour of the world, a lamb as the offering for my sin and for your sin. He said himself in John 14:6, " I am the way, the truth and the light, no man cometh unto the father, but by me." Now let me ask you, have you put your faith and trust in Jesus for your salvation? When you do that, you are beginning to do things God's way. If you let him, he will not only save your soul, but lead your life. Thank you and God Bless.

In the Bible in the book of Colossians chapter 2 and vers 3 we find an intresting statement;"In whom are hid all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge".The "whom" that Paul was speaking of is Jesus Christ. The previous verse is speaking of the 'mystery of God and Christ. So we have a source of 'treasure' in Jesus Christ that if we allow him applied to our hearts and lives,by faith in him(Jesus) it wil bring lasting peace and Gevine strength to the Soul. These things are found in a person. They are found in a right relatiship with Christ himself.Paul says in Colossians 2;10"Ye are cpmplete in him".Jesus Christ the Son of God.Again "Our sufficience is of God:"2 Corinthians 3;5.When we see and understand such wonderful truths we can say as paul did in Philippians 4;13 "I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me." Colossians 1;16&17 show us some of the treasures we find in a right relationship with Jesus Christ..The words "are hid" are used to show the location of these treasures. Our treasures are in Christ, our treasure is Christ.Throught Faith in Him we can experience forgivness of Sin and peace in our hearts and our lives. Wll you allow the peace and forgivness of Jesus Christ to come to you?It will if you will put your Faith and Trust in Him(Jesus) for the forgivness of your sin. Thank you and God Bless.

This is a question that many people try to ignore or get around. But an honest thinking person will not do that but will be willing to look at themselves in the light of the answer. Now as always we must look to the bible as the the one and only authority. In the book of Psalms, chapter 58 and verse 3 we find a very interesting and definitive statement "The wicked are estranged from the womb, they go astray as soon as they be born, speaking lies" That is me, you, and everyone. What does this mean and what can be done for it? First, I want to suggest that man, all of us are born in sin. That is with a sin nature and a love and desire to sin. David said in Psalms 51:5 that the reason he had committed a terrible sin was because he had a sinful nature. Isaiah said that "man is a transgressor from the womb" Isaiah 48;8. Paul said in Ephesians 2;1-3 "You hath he quickened(made alive spiritually) who were dead trespesses and in sin and were by nature the children of wrath'. Now it seems as if man was born to sin.A child wil show his sinful nature from a very early age by being disrespectful, disobedient and having a smart mouth disposition. If you doubt this look at all the violence caused by children today. No matter how many so called counseling programs there are it is not getting any better.Jeremiah 10:23 said"I know that the way of man is not in himself;it is not in man that walketh to direct his steps" Thankfully there is a solution. When the man came to Jesus by night in John 3,and Jesus knowing his heart said to him; "except a man be 'born again' (born from above) he cannot see the kingdom of God.To be pleasing to God and go to Heaven we mut have a new nature. That comes by Repentence and Faith in Jesus for our Salvation. 2 Corinthians 7;10-11 says "Godly sorrow worketh Repentence. "I am sorry for my sins and I am trusting Jesus to save my soul" Will you say that and put your Faith and Trust in him(Jesus) for your Salvation? Thank You.

Did you ever ask yourself this question? Did you ever think that where you are loosing out in trying to be satisfied is that perhaps you are looking in the wrong place? Then ending up with more quesions to a troubled heart and life. In the Bible in the book of Romans in chapter five and verses eight and nine we are told that while we are "sinners" Christ died for us. But it didn't stop there. In verse nine he said "much more then being justified by his blood". In two short verses mankinds greatest need is set forth and the remedy for that need..The fact that mankind is,by nature, a "sinner" is profound in it's implications. Estranged from God, seperated and eternally condemned because of this sinful condition.. Then just as astounding the cure is set forth. Being "justified by his blood";the blood of Christ of course. To be 'justified' is to be made just as if we had never sinned and as Acts 13:39 says "from all things. Now we started by asking 'what can Jesus do for you' and by realizing our condition as a 'sinner' and by putting our faith and trust in Jesus we become his.He is our older brother and God is our Father. But there are other benefits which we receive. As a child of God and younger brother to Jesus we can have power over the daily sins that try to creep into our life after we become saved or as we said 'justified'. Psalms 116;16 says"Lord I am your servent, thou hast loosened me from my bonds".It is Jesus that can do that for you my friends. No one else can. Nothing else can. Now please notice also some of the other things that are ours when we put our faith and trust in Jesus for our eternal salvation. Hebrews 10:1 & 2 tells us we can have a clear conscience which let's us know that we have been forgiven of ouir sins. You will have to read this wonderful chapter to fully appreciate this but I am at another benefit at this point. That is the blood of Jesus Christ sets us apart to God and it does it "once and for all". When we come to Jesus Christ by putting our faith and trust in him for salvation Hebrews 10:10 tells us we are 'sanctified (set aside) by the offfering of the body of Jesus Christ once and for all'. This means he will not have to die for us but one time, which he has already done.It also means we will not have to be saved but one time. Now what will you let Jesus Christ do for you? It all starts with a personal faith and trust in him (Jesus ) for your salvation.Have you done that? Will you do that? Thanks and God Bless you.

The first thing I became aware of with a title such as this is that I will not be able to complete it at one sitting as the others are.. So please forgive me if it seems to drop off for I am sure that will be the case. But I will try to complete to whole though as best I can. Everyone it seems today is looking for change. They say change is good. Everyone has to change, so, Why not just change for the sake of change.?Let's see if that type of statement is correct or should some things stay the same from one generation to the next. There is in our society today a type of change that I thought would never come in my day and one in which I am not happy to see. I guess you could say it is a change in attitude. That is an attitude that people have to one another. In my day most people would deal with each other in "kindness" but now people deal with each other in "rudeness". This attitude has so permeated our society that I am afraid it would be considered what is normal. Is there anyone who can tell me this is a good change? I think not. To illistrate what I am saying it was customery at one time when people greeted each other, that they would say such things as 'how are you, how is the wife, how are the childtren, and a friendly conversation could develop. Not so any more.n One person I know extended this type of greeting and was answered with a sour, 'why'. In other words 'why do you ask'. I could relate the spiritual or Biblical aspects of this but I won't do that on this writing. I may at another time. However we have to ask ourselves a question are we happy at being a "rude" society? Is this what we wish to pass on to the next generation? I hope the answer is no and each of us determines to do something about it. Thanks
