The first thing I became aware of with a title such as this is that I will not be able to complete it at one sitting as the others are.. So please forgive me if it seems to drop off for I am sure that will be the case. But I will try to complete to whole though as best I can. Everyone it seems today is looking for change. They say change is good. Everyone has to change, so, Why not just change for the sake of change.?Let's see if that type of statement is correct or should some things stay the same from one generation to the next. There is in our society today a type of change that I thought would never come in my day and one in which I am not happy to see. I guess you could say it is a change in attitude. That is an attitude that people have to one another. In my day most people would deal with each other in "kindness" but now people deal with each other in "rudeness". This attitude has so permeated our society that I am afraid it would be considered what is normal. Is there anyone who can tell me this is a good change? I think not. To illistrate what I am saying it was customery at one time when people greeted each other, that they would say such things as 'how are you, how is the wife, how are the childtren, and a friendly conversation could develop. Not so any more.n One person I know extended this type of greeting and was answered with a sour, 'why'. In other words 'why do you ask'. I could relate the spiritual or Biblical aspects of this but I won't do that on this writing. I may at another time. However we have to ask ourselves a question are we happy at being a "rude" society? Is this what we wish to pass on to the next generation? I hope the answer is no and each of us determines to do something about it. Thanks | ||
