| Are we crazy to take on parenting at our age? I got into this mommyhood thing late in life, in my 40s. My brave (i.e.crazy) husband has already raised four children, and he wants to do it all over again. |

Just yesterday I mentioned giving up sleep so I would have more time to devote to nonessential activities (like this blog). And now here I am at 1:48am, unable to sleep. Coincidence? I think not. Problem is, although I am wide awake my mind is so disjointed and fuzzy that I am completely unable to write anything even vaguely insightful, witty or interesting.

| I do read the blog and enjoy it. You my dear are a classic overachiever- trying to have and do it all. Simplify declutter and slow down the pace. I too prefer a fast pace, but the kids (and staying home) forces me to live at someone else's speed. My overachieving days are forced into the closet- and they are let out only a few hours per month. Someday I'll be a person again, and get to have my own mind racing at 2 a.m. and keeping me up. Lucky girl. I'll take the few hours you give us readers each month gratefully! | |||
